The Brand

For the nature and art lovers, this is definitely one talented artist to follow and admire, Joy de Rohan Chabot. Former socialite, trained at the Paris Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Joy loves the countryside and all it has to offer. This is why for at least half the year she and her family move to their own 15th century fortified castle – the Château de Jozerand in the Auvergne region of central France. Exquisite isn’t it?

It’s from the countryside that Joy loves to take in all inspirations possible, in all moments of creativity and hard work, and this is also why her Paris home and studio in Paris is also adorned with elements from the nature such as a gate with wild tree branches with an owl on top painted in steel opening then into a garden and then the studio that looks no different once we step inside. Butterflies, birds, wood branches, flowers and leaves are recurring motifs used in the work of this artist that classifies her work as contemporary decorative arts.

Talented for her creativity and originality but also for her ability to learn and invent new techniques herself and create her own pieces, Joy is our inspiration. A fauna and Flora inspiration together with a typical woman strength and free spirit is what connects us, KOKET, with Joy de Rohan Chabot. Feminine, hard work, creative and lover of the decorative arts…
